The Process
Step 1: Shorten the nail to desired length using an electric nail machine with a medium or coarse carbide tip on all 10 fingernails.Step 2: With fine sandpaper drum or file remove all excess cuticle and shine of the nail.Step 3: Apply prep liquid to the nails on all 10 fingernailsStep 4: Apply ProBase on the entire nail. Rebrush using a back-and-forth motion. It is important that the gel stays even on the nail.
Step 5: Dip in filler powder and tap finger to remove excess powder. Reapply a very thin coat of ProBase to the areas where you need to add thickness and dip in filler powder and tap finger to remove excess powder. Step 6: Apply a medium coat of ProBase on the entire nail then fan dry. Repeat the same steps for all fingers. Step 7: Apply the activator liquid to the entire nail on all 10 fingernails, Fan cure for 30 seconds. Step 8: Shape the side of the nail with a medium file to your clients preference. Step 9: Using a nail machine with a fine bit, file around the cuticle area and contour file the nail to shape and remove imperfections. Step 10: Buff all 10 fingernails. Have the client wash her hands and dry thoroughly before the next step. Step 11: Apply the activator liquid to the entire nail on all 10 fingernails, Fan cure for 30 seconds. Step 12: Apply a thin layer of finish gel as quickly as possible. Then repeat with a second coat, Fan dry each hand for 60 seconds. Step 13: Apply nail Nourisher around cuticle. |
